VicRoads Club Permit Scheme
G.V.M.V.D.C.Inc. Is accredited to administer the restricted
use of an un-registered club vehicle for which the appropriate Transport Accident
Charge and Permit Fee have been paid.
Eligible Vehicle/s: See Statement of
Purposes.
Use of a Club Permit Vehicle:
1/
The vehicle owner; for the purpose of "Vehicle Permit Plate
Registration"; must be a financial member of the G.V.M.V.D.C. Inc. 2/
Financial members may apply for either a 45 or 90 day permit, depending on
estimated use. 3/ Vehicles may be used at any time for any
purpose. However, they are restricted to a total of 90 days use over a 12 month
period. 4/ A logbook will be issued to vehicle permit holders, to record
the use of the vehicle over the permit period. 5/ VicRoads may suspend or cancel
a permit if the permit holder fails to comply with the permit conditions or
engages in conduct which threatens public safety or undermines the integrity of
the scheme.
VicRoads Club Permit Renewal:
To renew your Club Vehicle Permit you must:
(1)
Ensure that you are a financial member of the G.V.M.V.D.C.Inc.
(2).Ensure the
vehicle is in a safe condition, for use on public roads.
(3) Validate your renewal permit, with the authorised Club
Officers signature and Club stamp, confirming your membership.
(4) Return your renewal to VicRoads with your payment.
New Application for VicRoads Club Permit Scheme:
1/ Vehicle
must have a Current Roadworthiness Certificate. (Club Rule)
2/ Ensure that you are a
financial member of the G.V.M.V.D.C.Inc.
3/ Contact the authorised Club
Officer. (Vehicle Safety Officer)
